This isn't just any biography, it's an autobiography.
I'm from the coast of South Carolina. I grew up listening to a wide variety of music, and I like to think that such a wide array of influences are reflected in my work. I started writing music when I was 14. After playing music since an early age, I began to think I'd never write something of my own. Then one day it all started pouring out. To quote one of my biggest influences: "When he gave his river of voice, he never really had no choice," Edwin McCain.
I'd also like to introduce you to Rose. She is my trusty, six-stringed sidekick. Together we combine to form the sounds that you are currently listening to and, hopefully, enjoying. You'll notice that I write a variety of styles that range from folk, to rock, to country and jazz. Most of the jazzy influence comes from listening to the greats like those cool cats known as the Rat Pack, among others of that era. I'm also a child of the 90's, so my rock influences come from great bands like Collective Soul, Matchbox 20, Dishwalla, Third Eye Blind and many others.
I'm in Nashville hoping to transform myself from a beach bum from South Carolina, to a beach bum from South Carolina with a recording contract. I'm currently recording a CD for independent release. I am also loosely associated with The Round Table Entertainment Group. You can find them in my top friends. You should check out their page too. They're good people.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my autobiography. You'll know I've made it big when it becomes a biography. Until then, take care!
