John Greeneyes www.myspace.com/johngreeneyes A bumper 10 tracks from a collective of London artists (singers: Sheri and Karis, rappers: Monstrez, Oort Kuiper, Fezzy, John “Greeneyes” Mikail amongst others) on Myspace as John Greeneyes.. Produced by John, who, increasingly annoyed at the sloppy production skills on offer from other local producers, taught himself the necessary skills to make subtle music where the vocals standout and come with a message . The artists produce a varied collection of tracks to showcase their talents, freestyling on a number of tracks with topics as widespread as, technology, world issues, street politics, clubbing, drugs and sex. The common theme is their ability to translate their personal experiences into eminently listenable songs in a number of different styles with lyrics that speak to today’s youth in language that they understand. I liked “Ruff it up” with its solid beats and Zoda like interjections, ‘Control’, ‘The Gateway’ which reminded me of M.A.D.’s collaboration with Groove Armada, and my favourite ‘Shoulda Poppin’ which in the vernacular is “sick” ;-). . . . . . . . . . . . .

I have listen to alot of music on here and that song stands out to me. You keep Writing songs like im Human and one day you will be on the top. It has a very original sound to it. Just don't forget our photoshoot when that day comes I emailed im human to some friends. Wanted to see what they think.

The sound of a disc don’t depend on the artist but on the man who makes it. And all that, reduced to nonexistence in a computer language , by eating some mp3, flac or “beatport sound”,... which is the future of this diversity. Drum' n bass without Sub-Bass, techno with so much potency as a ring of portable, this is music of future, a music of automatic teller machine of bank. Serato, Final scratch, mp3, beatport are them the “cancers” of sound? it is the question that it is necessary to settle. So DJ, Artist, Label, resist, resist, save the vinyl’s sound, resist, resist. For a coloured and different music.
