The rest of the time I am an appreciator/ musician/ producer/ promoter/ collector and distributor of music in all its shapes and sizes. ........ HOLIDAYS IN COUNTY LAOS .. .. Got my first guitar when I was fifteen way back in 1986. I was in my first band about three weeks later. i ended up as a singer with a band called "Loose' after the original singer got sick one nite, then ended up in a band where we had the crazy idea to call ourselves 'Emperor Of Icecream'. With a name like that you know nobody would ever take us seriously. and so we got signed, got paid to go on adventures and make noise, and had the good fortune to meet loads of amazing people along the way.....long long time ago that. .. ........ SOFA RECORDS.... I have released three critically acclaimed albums of experimental soundtrack music and shoegazey stuff over the last few years. Thats also around the time when i started 'Sofa Records' with my long time friend Derek leahy. We released three compilations and a whole heap of albums and singles over the last three years for the likes of The Heard, Rafter, Dae kim, and Rulers of the Planet and Stanley Super 800. ........ BRUSSELS .. Last year saw the release of a new album of songs and sounds that went under the name 'Back to Christiana'. The album is available now as a digital download or limited edition handmade CD from www.bandoflcouds.bandcamp.com. Each track on the album has its own individual digital artwork, which all download as bonus material with the album. The plan is to release a limited edition vinyl September 2012 on Flaming June Records.
