Dutch producer John Huijbers started his musical journey by playing the piano, back in 1999. He started producing music back in 2001. The ability to put ideas into music was really fascinating. Working his way through the marvelous adventure of music production, quickly producing music became an addiction.
Inspired by the great pioneers of trance John developed a true love for trance music and he decided to share his music with the world.
John's first original track named "Wanting You" got signed and released at Alter Ego Recordings in July 2007. Wanting You was well received. It got played by the best of the scene.
Inspired by the great feedback he received and the fans he gained, John started producing new material. "Wildfire" and "Outshine" were the result. Bundled with "Wake me Up" these tracks formed his second release called "John Huijbers EP". This one was also signed and released at Alter Ego Recordings. At this point John gained great exposure that made him known to the scene.
Quickly a lot of remixes followed. John has worked for labels like Deepblue Records, Captured Music, Moonrising Recordings and more.
Half way 2007 John found House Music. Nice grooves and clean instruments really touched him. He decided to try to produce house music, which unexpectedly turned out very well."Mi Casa El Sol" was born, a new project got started. The project got the name "Basilio". Together with another house track called "Don't Stop (The Music)" it got signed to Cloud9 Music.
John's taste in music is very wide. He didn't stop with trance. Producing house music gave him a new view, it changed his perspective. New trance tracks were created. One of them was "Saburan Nights" which got signed and released at Five AM.
There's still a lot more to come. Destiny decides what happens. There's only one thing that's certain. You'll hear more from this man. Stay focused!
