 Lead vocalist Harley Van Kirk has started collaborations on a project with John Jaunese. 

 John says, "this vocalist is a Godsend, and Harly's voice is unlimited, with range and dynamics that it is like having all my favorite vocalists in the room at once, yet ironically has his own style and sound."



In other news, John Jaunese recently had the honor of a guest appearance on this Powertrain album called "Tracks". Members include Kendall Bechtel on Vocals and Guitar, Bobby Ferkovich (Bass), Op Sakiya (Keys).

You can hear John's guitar solo on the song "Complication". It has been said that this solo is very hauntingly similar to Randy Rhoads "Diary Of A Madman" tone..

BIOGRAPHY

John Jaunese has been playing the guitar for over 30 years, and is considered by many to be one of the most Melodic Guitar Players in "Neo-Classical Heavy Metal Fusion".

 John Jaunese has performed live with such Metal legends as Metal Church, Soul Bender (featuring Michael Wilton of Queensryche), Cellador, 3 Inches Of Blood, Death Angel, High On Fire, Strapping Young Lad, George Lynch, Hirax, Last Empire and many more.

 The first solo release was a 1997 EP titled "FASTEST GUITAR ON EARTH". A rich Neo~Classical sound that PRESS Reviews touted with the likes of Legendary Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony Macalpine, and George Bellas releases.

In recent years, he has been the Executive Producer of "Northwest Shred Fest""Northwest Shred Fest". Top guitar talent from around the Northwest participate in an Instrumental Cd released annually. 

In February of 2009 John was offered a spot on the "SHREDDING ACROSS THE WORLD VOL II" Compilation Cd by Shredguy Records. A critically acclaimed release featuring members and ex-members of Dio, Korn, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Scar Symmetry. John's Song "Mindstorm" took the 2 spot only behind Tracy G (EX-Dio Guitarist).

With the new relaease of his first Guitar Instructional Program Book/DVD named "SECRET TO SPEED". John is gearing up for an extensive OPEN ENDED CLINIC TOUR, as "Secret To Speed II" comes out later this year as a sequel! Each program is jam packed with 24 exercises on DVD, and a forty page book with standard notation as well as easy to read tab. This lesson series is for ADVANCED LEVELS.
