OK, I cannot stand Hip Hop but I do enjoy just about anything else. Lifehouse, Coldplay, Five for Fighting, Radiohead, Petra, Curtis Chapman, Joshua Cadison, etc. I still enjoy good ol fashioned 80s Rock and I enjoy worship music. There is nothing like going to a good opera or musical and I can even been known to put in a classical instrumental CD.

Christian Hot Spot: I started Christian Hot Spot about 5 years ago and never expected both the growth that it has had as well as the unblievable opportunities that it has come with. I am sitting back in awe at what is taking place. We have become the official film critics for the Fox News Radio Show, Kirby Wilbur and Company on AM570, we just got picked up by 3 more radio stations throughout the United States for movie reviews, our traffic is exploding and the missions opportunities are endless. Watching God actually create something that literally could not happen without Him, is amazing. We are aslo so excited because Christian Hot Spot is opening up its first Youth Center in Banawa, Cebu City in the Philippines! We cannot wait. We got the space and as things progress with the business, we are going to be putting more and more money into it. It is only a rental property right now but we got way too good of a deal to pass up.
Intro: My name is John Kehrli and thank you for visiting my myspace page. I am a professional film critic, founder of Christian Hot Spot, call busines owner in the Philippines and part time missionary. For some reason, everything I do for work actually all comes together for one complete goal. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to Oregon when I was 16, from there I moved to Seattle/Kirkland where I base myself however I also spend much of my time in the Island of Cebu in the Phlippines. The business that I have in the Philippines is in the communications and internet field however 100% of the profits that I make go toward missions. Yes, this is a unique approach, however I believe strongly in blending the talents in what you are good at with the practices of the Lord to glorify Him. Our main support will go toward the Happy Horizons Children's Ranch founded by Glenn and Nancy Garrison. If you type in www.hhcr.org you will see some amazing things that God is doing.
Spare Time: I have little spare time inbetween running the business, working with Christian Hot Spot and volunteering with the various activities in Cebu. However I enjoy just about everything from working out to traveling, cooking, relaxing with friends and family and relaxing by the Kirkland waterfront. As I grow and realize how short life really is, I find myelf enjoying being incredibly busy with what I do. So I guess on my spare time, I love doing ministry and working with people. That to me is so much fun.
Side Note: My life has been full of trials, tribulations, blessings and Grace. I can honestly say that I am so incredibly blessed to say that I am a child of God and love Him with all of my heart. I feel that God allowed me to go through so much turmoil in my 20's, so that I could reach others during the rest of the time I have. Many of you keep asking about my brother Steve and although it is still hard to talk about, I know that there is a purpose in everything. Maybe one of these days I will write a book about all of the recent events. I know that the Lord says that "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose". That is a verse that has never meant more then in the past two years.

Through all of the trails in my life I have always heard God's voice telling me to "Fear not for I will make the thorns as soft as the petals of the rose." I have never forgotten those words, nor the voice that spoke them to me.
