Recent Memorable Moment: Being invited into Sean Hannity's radio program with Kirby Wilbur. I owe Kirby Wilbur a great deal of gratitude for opening up doors for me to be affiliated with Fox News Radio as a film critic and for allowing me to be on his show in Seattle. He is a man that I will eternally be grateful to be friends with.
I am doing business and missions here in the Philippines. Although I really do not consider myself a missionary. My desire for the business I started is to one day support personal missions that the Lord has laid on my heart and to reach out into other areas of need here in the Philippines. My heart is to use the skills that God has given me and use them to reach out to both the Philippines and other 3rd world countries. My heart more than ever has been with orphans and we have many local orphanages right here locally in Cebu, also one person in our business has a heart for "Inner City" which will play a key role in our outreach. Children, Widows and Inner City!
Future Plans: Outreach in Action: With the money we make from the business, we truly desire to go to 4 difference countries per year for 2 weeks at a time. I would like to take a doctor, computer and technical trainer, nurse, business strategist, pastor, worship leader and youth to a poverty stricken town in Africa, Mexico, Cambodia, and China and reach out to the communities on a LONG term basis. I think so many people go on “short term” mission trips, which is great, but they tend to leave people with little more than their own personal experiences and the areas they reach rarely see them again. We want to break that mold and truly go once a quarter and invest into the towns.
Update on Christian Hot Spot: I was recently heard on the Sean Hannity Show which was an awesome experience to say the least! Our reviews were just added to four more radio stations! They are now airing my movie reviews and we are so excited to have radio representation in Ohio and Nevada! I just had the honor of going back into the Fox News Radio studio a couple months ago and reconnecting with many people I know so well. When I am in town I am always on in Seattle.
Spare Time: I was recently appointed the Children’s leader at church which is a huge blessing! I am so excited to say the least. I have little spare time in-between running the business, working with Christian Hot Spot and volunteering with the various activities in Cebu. However I enjoy just about everything from working out to traveling, cooking, relaxing with friends and family and relaxing by the Kirkland waterfront. As I grow and realize how short life really is, I find myself enjoying being incredibly busy with what I do. So I guess on my spare time, I love doing ministry and working with people. That to me is so much fun. (More than anything, I love to travel and see new places!)
Side Note: My life has been full of trials, tribulations, blessings and Grace. I can honestly say that I am so incredibly blessed to say that I am a child of God and love Him with all of my heart. I feel that God allowed me to go through so much turmoil in my 20's, so that I could reach others during the rest of the time I have.
To my US Friends: Many of you keep asking about my brother Steve and although it is still hard to talk about, I know that there is a purpose in everything. Maybe one of these days I will write a book about all of the recent events. I know that the Lord says that "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose". That is a verse that has never meant more then in the past two years. Sadly, at this point I do not see myself ever being able to talk about that part of my life, other than to help people through their own personal experiences or in a ministry context. I just miss him far too much and I cannot wait to see him in Heaven. (Please do not ask, as it is still fresh)

John, thank you so much for your kind and lovely comments. God has been very good to me and from the ashes rose the heart that I now hold. Through all of the trails in my life I have always heard God's voice telling me to "Fear not for I will make the thorns as soft as the petals of the rose." I have never forgotten those words, nor the voice that spoke them to me. Again, I hope you all the happiness and joy that comes from serving Christ and I am so proud to be able to call you my "Brother" in Christ.
