All sorts of music, Sci-Fi - Babylon 5, Farscape... Science - I wouldn't study physics otherwise, Reading both fact and fiction for different reasons. I love getting caught up in the narrative of a great book (Eon by Greg Bear is great) but I'm also fascinated by historical books. I love to find out about things whatever they may be.

THIS SUNDAY, 6th DEC AT THE WELL, LEEDS (formerly Joseph's Well) - a rare UK appearance by this classic London punk rock crew...
Guitar Gangsters started life in 1988 when punk in the UK was almost illegal and have determinedly dodged commercial success ever since! Seven studio albums and two live albums are testimony to the band's belief in the power of first generation punk, preferring anthems, melody and well crafted songs to the flat out speed and nihilism of newer bands on the punk circuit. Tours with Stiff Little Fingers in 1989 and just about all the punk bands of the late 1970's since have earnt Guitar Gangsters the reputation of "the worlds second favourite punk band"! Since 1995 the band has gigged regularly abroad and less in the UK on account of the declining scene at home particularly in the south-east. The band has gigged in 19 countries including Brazil and the US and are regular vistors to mainland Europe where they have a strong following in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Poland. Six of the band's albums can be found on Captain Oi! and their new album release "Badge of Honour" on vinyl and CD will be available from the end of May 2009 on the band's own "Rampant Records" label and on RILREC in Germany.
Support from Lancashire punk 'n roll hotshots the Kings Of The Delmar, and Leeds's scuzziest sleaze punks The Kingcrows.
