Since leaving Upstate NY in 2001 John has lived in Denton TX (University of North Texas), New York City, Boston (Berklee COM), and now currently resides in Las Vegas (UNLV). As one of the co-founders of Cerulean City he performed in 3-National Tours, across 25 states, from late 2002 to mid 2004. After a short stint back in Rochester he moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, 2007 graduate (Magna Cum Laude). Moved to Las Vegas in August of 2008 to pursue Master in Music (Jazz Comp) at UNLV.
Has also been fortunate enough to share the stage with Guitar Legend Greg Howe and Guitarist / Producer Tim Bradshaw (David Grey). Available for freelance session work, pit work and private instruction on both electric / acoustic bass & electric guitar. Extensive experience writing, arranging, and transcribing for the above mentioned groups, aswell as other North Eastern musicians/artists.
Since arriving at UNLV John has performed in many Big Band, Orchestra, and Combo concerts across the campus and the city of Las Vegas, has been teaching private bass lessons at the college, and recently performed an extended run at the world renowned Adelaide Fringe Festival in Southern Australia.
