Bio
Since trading his native Berlin for the UK and studying Sound Design in Edinburgh University, John has been composing for a broad range of TV productions and indie films while also contributing to production libraries such as KPM Music House (EMI) and Sync Music. In addition to scoring many feature length BBC and Channel 4 documentaries such as for the Cutting Edge series, or most recently BBC2's 'Inside Claridge's', he has also sound designed award winning films such as 'The Flyer' (2008), 'I'm In Away From Here' (2009) and 'Wind Over Lake' (2011). A frequent live performer, John is currently playing with Poppy Ackroyd as well as completing his debut solo album, set for a July 2013 release via Denovali Records.
