About me:
Hello, my name is John Linder. As you may know, I'm the Democratic candidate for the 9th Senatorial district of Pennsylvania. I am an educator, a community activist, and a lifelong resident of District 9. Our district includes parts of Chester County and Delaware County, as well as the city of Chester. 2008 is a very exciting year to be running for office, and I am excited for the opportunity to show the people of District 9 why I am the right choice for state senator.
I'm very proud to say that our campaign is gathering momentum. In the primary we brought 7000 more voters to the polls than our Republican opponent. This is significant because historically, District 9 usually trends Republican. To me, this means that there is a mandate for change, not only at the national level, but at the state and local level as well.
The Democratic State Senate Campaign Committee believes that I can be that change, and has invested in my campaign. What is most important, however, is that I have the support of the community. If you are a resident, please know that as your senator, I will invest myself in hard work, results and change for the people of District 9. Will you invest in me?
