Life is life and things will change..
..hopefully
Well, hi there, I'm John, and was born in Melbourne, moved to Perth when I was 13. Let's see...The first guitar I ever had I acquired when I was 8. It was a tiny nylon string type one. I didn't really play it a hell of a lot. I started getting more into playing guitar when I was 13, when my friend and I played in a 2 man blues band called Dakota 61. In 2005 my band friend Scott Aitken and I played gigs and mainly competitions here and there. I used to busk a lot in that year when I was 15, because I ended up living in Perth on my own until the end of 2007. To make money for food and enjoying times with friends I'd busk. By the end of 2007 I had finished school and had got to the point where I couldn't afford to live there on my own anymore. So I moved back to Melbourne.
It wasn't until May 2007 that I decided I would play live again, after taking time off. I needed those few months off to gather myself again. Since, I have started fresh around Melbourne, playing gigs, open mic's, competitions, and busking around the suburbs of Brunswick, Richmond, St Kilda and Kew. I am also working full time, making money, to record tracks for a demo album one song at a time. This has been a long slow process that will hopefully pick up. The people I have met along the way are fascinating. Some people you meet will give you a chance, and with that you can really make something of yourself, I've noticed
