John Luskey, a Maryland Native, learned
enough guitar by the age of thirteen to join his first band and write his first
song. His first show was at a local dive in front of a handful of people. By the
time he was ready for college, he was performing in and around the Maryland
suburbs. Four years later, John Luskey and his band would open up for Gretchen
Wilson and perform with Kenny
Chesney, Brooks-n-Dunn, Rascal Flatts, and Toby Keith. He has received awards
from Billboard Magazine for "When She Cries" and "King Of The World" and from The John Lennon Songwriting Contest for "Honky Tonk Rhythm".
