Glad to hear you made it back safe and sound from the other side of the world. I pray you got to spend enough time in Tulsa to enjoy the more important things in life.

I'm working on writing up some comments for the SEC, regarding their new proposals and really appreciated your input the other week in your newsletter. Us little guys need all the assistance from industry heavyweights, such as yourself, that we can get. Because it sure feels like, without it we're going to get the shaft.

Blessings,
Andy

I love your newsletter and "Just One Thing" will be read again and again.

Keep of the good work.
I might send you an applicant for that job...recommendations don't come easy from me.

Thanks for adding me, John. I'm enjoying reading Bullseye Investing, and looking forward to whatever comes next. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for adding me.

Your "Fingers of Instability" piece from 8/25 was amazing.

Malbrot's "The (Mis) Behavior of Markets" shows that the Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH) is just plain wrong. Imagine that! Risk and change is better simulated by a pile of sand than the EMH.

Keep up the good work.

JM! Great newsletter this week. I find your ability to support your point of view, even if it goes against majority opinion, extremely admirable. Thank you for doing what you do, and keep up the great work!

Mr. Mauldin! What a surprise to see a link to your myspace page in a recent newsletter. How exciting! Sorry....gushing a little bit, but you are honestly one of my favorite writers and commentators. I love the mix of brilliance, humility and irreverence. Especially love the role of "moderator/filter" you play with the "Outside the Box" newsletters!

I actually got to meet with your research assistant (Harry) once when I lived in the Metro area.

If I were at a different point in life (and in DFW vs. L.A.), my resume would be on your desk! Alas, someone has to start tech ventures though, right?

Thanks for everything John! I really admire your work & perspective. Keep up the great work!

ps, Go Dodgers!
Shady

JM,

In-text footnotes are where it's at - especially if there's little nuggets of commentary next to the citation.

Also, your family seems like a lot of fun, but I'd argue that dressing like an economist is pretty cool, too.

Thanks,
Drew

Just wanted to throw out that I find your newsletter to be a great learning tool. Keep up the good work and since you like to travel, if you find yourself coming to Rome anytime soon you've got yourself a tour guide.

Your still bleeding from the Mavs melt down, but at least there's a bandaid to help it with Italy the Campioni del Mondo, reader
