About John Mendoza

This singer/songwriter from South Jersey is doing things differently. As a guitarist/pianist/arranger, he understands the importance of strong musicianship in the songs. While the quality of the songs are the most important, John emphasizes a tight and dynamic rhythm section and blazing guitar work. The idea behind the music is to present straight up pop influenced rock with a pallet of different colors presented in the form of virtuosic guitar playing, energetic drums and a blazing bass line. I meet a lot of people and just absorb everything. :-) The band's been on hold for quite a while now. The producer hasn't called us in for rehearsal for about 4 months now. I guess he'd decided to extend the summer break, haha! I'm completely OK with it, though. ;-) I've been working on some recordings lately, hopefully the track I'd sent you will see the light of MySpace soon. I've completely re-recorded it, but it still needs some stuff done, so I'll wait until it's complete. And you?
