About 13Moons

"John Moony leads the revolution of the modern singer/songwriter.

He mixes a brew of soulful melodies matched with precision-crafted guitar playing and looping experiments. His live sets mesmerize with songs that attack and tease the pondering regions of the imagination.

He originated to the scene as a member of the Chicago indie rock band Torben Floor before forming his own band, Circle K, playing rhythm guitar and singing lead vocals.

He continues to evolve a more intimate sound with compositions that challenge all conventions of arrangment and structure.

His solo work includes Bare Bones (2006) and Acoustiloops (2007). Fadeouts is set for completion in 2009."
