John Thelonius Mork. I'm one half of the house music band The Sound Republic and co-owner of SpatulaCity Records - we've made quite a lot of records as TSR (in fact, way more than I even thought we did!) and SpatulaCity is still plugging along. TSR as a group project is on a bit of a hiatus, while Frankie and I are scratching creative itches and pursuing our own solo projects right now. This is not the end of TSR — sometimes it's just important to do your own thing for a while. One of my biggest current projects is Sizzled Chicago, spearheaded by me and my pal Karl Almaria. We have reworked our old party (Grizzled) at Lava Chicago (1270 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago, IL) in to an event that is a little more diverse and experimental... and we're calling it Sizzled.
