Johnnie K, Lead Guitarist, Multi Instrumentalist, Songwriter, Producer. Johnnie is also an Artist and creates in many mediums such as oil paints,pencils ,airbrush and an array of others. To date Johnnie and his new project, The Johnnie K Band. The band resides in the Tampa Bay area of Saint Petersburg, Florida. With the release of johnniek.com and the powerful internet exposure people are discovering this artist for the first time! Johnnie performs a complete original set of the most blistering and encompassing music to date for his band. Johnnie started playing at the age of eleven and performing live at fifteen, Johnnie has been touring, recording and paying dues for many years, and time has nurtured his unique brand of music developing his craft with endless hours and years of playing. The goal is to reach my music to as many people as possible (JK). A virtuoso of the guitar Johnnies live performance is a must see, displaying heartfelt emotion throughout the live musical set. His music includes all musical genders most rockin is the core of the bands soul branching out into uncharted musical directions as well as commercial hit melodies. The recordings include commercial rock, tantalizing guitar riffs, blues, classical, new age fusion sounds, and discovering uncharted new and exciting musical directions. Influenced by such as Jimi Hendrix, Frank Marino and a list far too vast to mention, JKs styles embraces all our musical influences.
