    Claire (CJ) ®'s Interests
GeneralMusic is what I am mainly about! You can usually find me listening to CDs, at a gig or doing something to do with music. I have a blue Ford Ka & it takes us to a lot of gigs to venues around the country but usually up North as my nerves are slowly getting less & less as I get older! New York is my favourite place in the entire world, I have been 4 times & it really is amazing, some days I think i'd like to live there. I like the USA in general, I've been to Las Vegas, Hollywood & San Francisco too which were all great places! Other than that I am a HUGE fan of music, I have 4000+ CD's now & I am running out of room! I have a Creative 30g digital player & it is awesome, highly recommended above Apple! I love collecting music related items such as limited CDs, art work, t-shirts, 7 inch vinyls & posters....anything that looks cool! I also like guinea pigs, gerbils, curry, cardigans, vans, skechers, vodka, stripes, stars, Paul Frank designs and ..KFC! I live about 20 miles away from the city of Hull, the only good things I can think of about my city are the following: The Beautiful South & The Housemartins are from Hull, the Empress pub has the best jukebox in existance (you can have Midlake, Neil Diamond, Chumbawumba, the Flaming Lips & Dolly Parton with Kenny Rogers all for £1) The Deep is a great attraction & lastly, the first Twilight Singers album was partly recorded in Hull..(little known fact)!! I can't stand any music that is saturating the airwaves or (usually) anything that graces the front of the 'rag' the NME! I am definitely more of an Uncut reader....I love Paste magazine but It costs too much per issue in the UK! I also like Blender & Filter & wish you could buy it over here for as cheap as it costs in the USA! ..

   Claire (CJ) ®'s Blurbs
About me:
I was born in North Ferriby on a very cold winters day- February 20th, 1982. I lived in Welton until I was 7 then moved to Newport, where I am currently residing (hopefully not for much longer). I spent a lot of my youth enjoying the richer aspects of life such as, The Chuckle Brothers, Simon & The Witch & Rainbow on TV & collecting spokey dokeys for my bike! I have always been exceptionally shy, which has never really gone away but sometimes I even suprise myself! I can say though that back when I was about 14 I performed on the stage at the Drury Lane Theatre in London....I was a genetically modified plant & was trying to take over the world- all set to music! Thats the absolute truth. Not much happened until I started work at HMV in 2000 when Paul Rutter took me under his wing (or wings?). I met my Dan in 2003 who really is a special guy. I worked for HMV for 5 years & I left in April 2006, after much deliberation & started a new job with a design company which is different in many ways! It's ok but work is work I suppose! My 5 years at HMV taught me many things including good work mates deserve nothing but the greatest amount of respect & they are very hard to come by! MySpace LayoutsI edited my profile at Quacked.com, check out these Myspace Layouts!

Who I'd like to meet:
I have met some cool people already (Josh Rouse, Jesse Malin, Ed Harcourt & childhood hero Shawn Michaels) but I'd like to meet anyone i'm a fan of, i'm not fussy! I like famous people who'll sign my stuff! :) These are two really cool videos, the first I recorded at a Josh Rouse gig in Manchester 2005! The second is a genius song by The Folksmen from the film A Mighty Wind called Old Joes Place! .. width="425" height="350">.... ....> object width="425" height="355">.... ....

I understand, I forget sometimes too :)
Jim White the singer songwriter? I saw him @ Joe's Pub about a couple months ago. I didn't know his music and became a fan. The other Jim White is playing with Nina Nastasia here sometime next week!
Regarding the art, I did but we wanted to keep the bootleg feeling and didn't add credits. So glad you like it! :)
