About me:

I call myself a Southern Yankee because technically I am a Southerner, but I prefer the trappings of a big northern city such as Washington or New York. Living in Arlington, I am only 10 minutes away from DC and enjoy going to museums and galleries. Many Sundays are spent perusing the walls of the National Gallery of Art. I also enjoy music recorded and especially live! I go for anything from a raunchy bar band to a symphony orchestra and pretty much anything in between. The Beatles are my favorite group, and classic rock is my favorite genre, but I have a wide range of musical tastes. I like Paul Simon, James Taylor, FRANK ZAPPA and many, many more. I also enjoy watching movies especially in the theater, but DVDs are pretty good as well. I like guy stuff mostly when it comes to move the while movies -- war, crime, horror -- but I also like comedy, romantic comedy, mystery and suspense.
