Well Howdy-Doodle Do, Pop-pickers and welcome to our Seventies page. Here you will find all manner of great stuff. If you have already visited our website you will see our current listing of the bands currently in our stable.
Here at Johnny 7, we put the emphasis on having a good time and our Seventies nights are proving more and more popular. We try to bring the period feel to our shows by having all-sorts of memorabilia on our 'TABLE OF DREAMS' Where you will see items that have been long forgotten. Such things as The Record Selector,Record Vacuum,Buttoneer,Portable Sewing Machine,Stylaphone,8 Tracks,Multi-chopper, etc.etc. These are all on display and bring back loads of memories. We also have an early games console working, with Tennis,Badminton, for you to play on.It's the one with the annoying 'bleep bleep bleep and it'll drive you nuts. You will also see Space-hoppers and Choppers along with a selection of Sweets,Perfumes and Aftershaves. We have a vast music libary and are always asking for obscure requests, so if you have a tune that you've not heard for a while, let us know and we'll try to play it here for you. We have a fantastic 'wall of sound' coupled with a brilliant light show and projection system on which we show Seventies Classic videos etc we like to do it 'BIG STYLE' and we are not your average Saturday night DJ with a few 70's mixes. We love the 'Village hall' atmosphere and bringing music back to these rural communities is high on our list, and you can see the success we have had by clicking the Village/Community link on the website
We are learning and updating this page all the time so any hints and tips would be well recieved

Mis-cued disc leads to arrest of 70s DJs
Johnny7 & Chad Valli, purveyors of fine 70s music, have been arrested by Joliet Jale & Elwood Blues and placed in custody following a serious incident at a festival over the weekend.
Our reporter on the scene, Bry Nylon, states, the event was in full swing when one slip of Johnny's finger led to Glyn Pooles Milly Molly Mandy being played. Within seconds the dance floor was empty and several minutes later the Musical Police arrived and consequently arrested Johnny & Chad immediately removing them from the scene.
Festival organiser Steve Williams of Viking Sound & Light was said to be shocked and saddened but later was in good spirits as he was comforted by friends and a bottle of Pony.
The Case continues
Not just a Disco, more a 70s experience.
The name Johnny 7 comes from the name of a toy gun that was around in the 1970's which had 7 attachments to it. Shaun had one of these toys as a boy and he liked it so much, he bought the name. (Victor Kyam - Remington) When D.J. ing he teams up with Chad Valli and together they are a fabtastic, supergroovy (call it what you will, mate) duo. Between them they have a fantastic knowledge about 70s music, hence most of our shows are based around this.
A space hopper champion in 1976, Johnny 7 is still in the Double Diamond Book Of Records for the fastest lap around the Top of the Pops studio. Chad is the quiet one, having had a major Chopper accident and twisting his clackers in 1975. He says very little but spins a mean disc. His love of 70's music started when he used to empty the bins and clean the toilets in the Supersonic Studios.***********
