Johnny Action Finger Johnny Action Finger is a 7 piece band from deep in the shire of West Wales. The music is a mix of Reggae, Ska, Punk, Ragga, Hip Hop and Rock. They’ve been together since 2003 have gained massive success in the local music scene. In 2005 they won a battle of the bands competition that featured 45 bands from West Wales, have been voted band of the year on radio Pembrokeshire in 2007 and won best gig of the year in 2006 as voted by the music journalist of the Western Telegraph. JAF had their album launch in May 2008 which was a sell out in Pembrokeshire’s best music venue the Queens Hall. Since this they have nearly sold 1000 copies of their album. They’ve supported bands such as Skindred, Sonic Boom 6, 4ft Fingers, Freestylers and Neville Staples from The Specials. Their music has been featured on adverts for BBC 1, BBC 2, and the skating programme 'RAD' on CHANNEL 5. Last year JAF had the opportunity to play in Glastonbury festival in which they played in 'Cafe Tango' and 'Croissant Neuf', they went down a storm gained lots of new fans. Here is the review from the JAF album launch. ‘Action-packed gig By the time Johnny Action Finger took to the stage, the audience was quite prepared to give it their all and the performance did not disappoint. What followed was an inspiring display of well-crafted rock and reggae, packed with hooks, bursting with energy, and all delivered with expert skill level. It soon became apparent why this band, in particular, has such a formidable fan base; saxophone and trumpet-fuelled reggae and ska, balanced with effect-laden guitar, rocky riffs and a punk attitude ensures no one is left wanting. Their music is accessible and enthralling, simple yet interesting, aggressive, but never demanding. If ever the opportunity arises to see Johnny Action Finger at a venue such as the Queens Hall, I strongly suggest people take it - it's only a matter of time before they're dominating festivals and conquering the rest of Britain.'
Ever been JAFed? no? then come along to one of their gigs and experience it for yourself....they dare you

hey, hey... OUR FIRST FIVE STAR REVIEW FROM USA Sendelica: The Girl From The Future Who Lit Up The Sky With Golden Worlds
The instrumental outfit from Wales Sendelica returns with a fabulous collection of seven face melting jams on their brand new offering for RAIG called The Girl From The Future Who Lit Up The Sky With Golden Worlds. For this new disc the two principal members, Pete Bingham (guitars, electronics) and Glenda Pescado (bass) have enlisted two Boston area musicians Geoff Chase (drums) and Ed Guild (electronics) to join them on their lengthy, astral excursions. Kicking off with a brief snippet of sampled, ethic tinged female vocals "Standing On The Edge" quickly shifts into overdrive as Bingham slashes out a mammoth swath of thick power chords, as bursts of psychedelic sounding electronics swirl around his extended solos. His guitar lets out an extended run of feedback at the tail end of the track before seamlessly segueing directly into the metallic, twelve minute crunch of "Manhole Of The Universe". Bingham tears off solo after solo.... FOR FULL REVIEW GO TO... http://www.seaoftranquility.org/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=7884
