Johnny Astro and the Big Bang are a four-piece band from Knoxville, Tennessee. The collegiate foursome beautifully blend raucous, energetic rock and roll with creative melodies, percussion, and thick guitar lines to create a thumping, screaming, emotional, and somewhat quirky sound. The band recently recorded their first six song EP, Thick As Thieves, said to be released in early 2011.
