Heh. Take that, space boy.
Drawn2U hit me with this little video number right here...
... and, um... sex is good, drugs are all prescriptions now, rock 'n' roll always. I'm into this newfangled computer thingie... lol damn I ain't that old am I... ruh roh... I like reading Stephen King books and seeing how most of the movies suck lol (gonna be a Dark Tower graphic novel series btw, Roland rules), sci-fi movies, and planning my next move. Candidly, I think this move will involve scraping barnacles off my behind and recapturing the muse that got me the art school scholarship a lifetime ago... I never did get a beautiful, shameless girl to pose for me... hmm...
... love ya Stevie! *mUAh* =P
Music
I like anything GOOD! This video is a fine example. It's "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne, and the "Stacy" referred to is Stacy Hamilton, arguably the lead character in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. "Fast Times" is the best freakin movie of all time, imho, and this tribute is awesome; "Stacy's Mom" is played by legendary supermodel Rachel Hunter, and she does pay tribute to Stacy's friend Linda's (the amazing Phoebe Cates) legendary bikini fantasy sequence... well, watch for yourself - and then, if you don't have the dvd with the Amy Heckerling/Cameron Crowe commentary? Shame on you! Go get a copy! NOW!!!
LOL... no I am not kidding... before you play the video, take a gander at this still shot of the Cates fantasy sequence, and try and tell me the whole world doesn't look just a little bit nicer, 'k?
ahhhhhhh... yeah, you're gonna thank me when you see it on video... but for now, here's Fountains of Wayne to tide you over... enjoy!
Other than some of the "Fast Times" soundtrack, classic rock from AC/DC to ZZ Top... some of the new stuff is okay, but not much is coming out that will be heard twenty years from now, and maybe that's how it should be I dunno. I kinda like this old school anthemic rock number from Dee Snider and his boys in Twisted Sister... so watch it.
Not bad, huh?
Seems to me the solo female artists are still kicking ass, from Blondie and Stevie Nicks to Pink and Kelly Clarkson - the only Idol with any balls. LeeAnn Rimes just keeps on smoldering, bless her heart. Lately, I got a soft spot for anything off of Johnny Cougar's "uh-huh"... cuz sometimes love DON'T feel like it should.
Movies
Stan the Man Lee's Marvel Comics movies are, finally, makin' everybody else look like amateurs, in case nobody noticed. Star Wars (who said geek, I heard that dammit), LOTR, Starship Troopers, Forrest Gump, The Incredibles, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High... American Pie is funny and all, but lacrosse and band camp just can't compete with FOOTBALL AND STACY'S POOL, ahem and aloha, Spicoli... dude... that's my skull...
... and what the hey - because it is so educational, I like porn. This video explains all that better than my clumsy hands ever could. Enjoy! ;)

I also like this montage from the film "Bedazzled" starring Elizabeth Hurley and Brendan Frazer, played to the music of Garbage. This is from my friend Drawn2U, to scold me for being naughty. I would have preferred naked pictures... but apparently I'm not quite naughty enough. I will work on that. Meanwhile... enjoy.
Okay, here's another from my friend Drawn2U... it's not naked pictures, but... I'm satisfied. I am definitely drawn to you, Drawn2U! Thanks =)
Drawn2U is quite the videophile! I'm putting this one in her contributions because of my inability to resist Bernadette Peters... and Christopher Walken ("more cowbell") does dance up a storm, here!
Thank you, Drawn2U! You KNOW what I like, lol ;)
Television
anything on FOX Sunday nights that IS a cartoon... actually yeah pretty much any cartoon from SpongeBob to South Park. SpongeBob is a contraceptive sponge, you know...
... and this is the Fruitcake Lady, who was a regular favorite with Leno on The Tonight Show - she's wise beyond even her years, I think. Reminds me of my recently departed grandmother. Jersey Girl the Fokstar posted it, so credit to her... and credit also to the sweet Queen Celine, who helped me out with some tech headaches... I have nice friends =)
Books
Stephen King's Dark Tower series... I'll pay anybody who can satisfactorily explain the ending to me, but wow what a ride... Tom Wolfe's Bonfire of the Vanities is still one of my favorites too. Joseph Wambaugh writes a helluva cop novel.
I stole this thing from The Mad Goat, cuz I figured he'd prefer that to me stealing his Tuaca or beer money. His blogs are sometimes actually quite funny; he makes a lot of ladies laugh... and that's a good thing. =)
Heroes
Heroes are people who succeed in spite of any obstacle, and we need more of them. I am posting a twin of Tommy Blaze's 9/11 tribute video here, as a safety precaution... and to honor all American heroes.
This banner link is also from Tommy Blaze... check it out?
Oh... and Next Door Nikki, of course. Yes, I do like the dragonfire tattoo. I would like to offer her my thanks for a very special comment someday, maybe right now*mUAh*
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet Osama and kick him in the balls. Please enjoy this tribute home video by my friend Tommy Blaze and his very young daughter Delaney... and God bless America, our home sweet home.
Sorry if I have a TWISTED sense of humor. This is an obnoxious attempt to get more blog subscribers. Basically just taking a break from writing my novel. Hope it interests you.
