Johnny Smith-Drummer/Percussion - For the past 20 years, music and drumming have been the driving force in my life. My philosophy on drumming is simple, play with passion and attitude but always dedicate these emotions to the music. I want what will make the song ring true and will play whats best to deliver its meaning. I enjoy being a team player and taking suggestions from any member of a given band, there is no ego here. Since moving to Los Angeles, I have played all over the West Coast, from San Diego to Seattle, and the world, including a USO tour to Iraq to play for the troops. I have professionally recorded drums and percussion with several different bands(Katie Morris, Offshore, Generation Beautiful) and have had the honor and privilege of working and recording with Marc Desisto(Michelle Branch/Don Henley). I can play solid to click trax both live and studio, and have an array of percussion ready to perform with. To hear an example of my playing, please listen to any of the trax on this page.
