Just me and homestudio equipment for the recordings. I do work with lyric writers because as a non-native english speaker it's always difficult to get the language just right.
Influences
It really can be anything, depending on mood - and as long as the language is music - I've quit styles, categories, names etc.
Sounds Like
I don't know if my music is sound-alike - you decide. I like to do different styles, whatever is best for the song. And then there's of course the limitations of doing all tracks myself - please listen to these recordings as demos. With no plans for albums, live shows or whatever the songs are available for covering any way you think best. Every song always has it's first try-out, and these are mine suggestions what they could be. "As performed by Johnny Hoeve" in homestudio.
I'm a songwriter from the Netherlands. Although I am no longer part of any band, and with no plans to start an performing artist's solo career, I do like to continue my music writing songs and recording them in my homestudio. Hopefully this one day will pay off with success for some of these songs...

Yes Johnny ..... I make french lyrics too, but I can also tell you that translation from english is very hard because of the difference between "words musicality"!!! talk soon kari x hope we meet next year for the launch of the charity Cd ?
Hi Johnny, I took Paul Dunn's advice and expanded my friends list and I have had a lot of very encouraging comments on our co writes. I have also had some really good laughs with them.
