Bio
.. .. .. .. .. .. ..Born and raised in Indiana. I learned to play the guitar when I was 9 from my uncle Henry Toler and my grandfather John Gabbard. I played with Marty Stuart in 1993 and on TNN in Nashville, TN in 1993 as well. I joined the Air Force in 1994 where I played in various bands all over the upper US. I moved to San Antonio in 1998 and spent 1 very memorable year playing acoustic guitar and mandolin with the all acoustic band, The Arbuckle Boys, an 1880's era authentic cowboy band. During this time I also played electric lead guitar and steel guitar with Jim Earl and the Cadillacs performing strictly 1940's and 50's Golden Area country music. In 2000 I joined the Creed Henry Taylor band as lead guitarist and while we didn't play many shows (Creed moved to Canada) it was a very creative and fun time playing some great music. In August of 2002, I formed what became 10 City Run. If you're a fan of the music of the Byrds or Little Feet, I chose this name from a line in the song my favorite guitarist Clarence White sang with the band, "Truck Stop Girl." After a lot of playing out all over Texas, we were signed to Universal South in October of 2005 and the CD was released the following year. I relocated to Las Vegas in 2006 and looking forward to new musical adventures ahead with my NEW band Rocky Tonk. Please check out our page and add us! Look for our new CD this fall! .. .. .. -

thanks Johnny for adding- great guitar playing- love+respect from Germany - Beige Fish
Sensational sound and style, Johnny! Without a doubt, the sharpest dresser in cyperspace (;
“The Way I Do”---Love all those spanky 7th’s! Killer guitar tones, Johnny. I’m a sucker for a b-bender.
“What I Do”---Fantastic chord changes! Great mood on this gem. Do I detect a little Slaid Cleaves? I HIGHLY approve (;
Can I come join the TWANG army? Lots of that in my blood (; Like you, I’m old school to the core.
Thanks for the trip, Johnny…
