Mostly just me. An occasional bongo player. But nothing serious.
Influences
I like Pavement, Placebo, early AC/DC, I'm not ashamed, body heat and goose pimples, Vic Chesnutt, the Pixies, cardigans, leopard skin slippers, anything which involves marmalade, most things that make you laugh, and an afternoon kip.
I write and sing songs to make you laugh. Or at least just smile a bit. Songs about life, lust and lycra. And power showers. And being old. And having to get drunk to meet people. And about belly dancers. And beards. And losing your virginity on the number 14 bus. The one that goes to Swansea. Felicity, where are you now? And songs where every line rhymes with Priscilla. All the important things.
I also compere an open mic club in Southampton called the Candle Club, every Monday night. Have a peek at

Stupid question right? As of 2nd April 2009 I’ll be organising monthly acoustic sessions at what remains one of Southampton’s best-loved venues. I’m looking for the best solos and duos to play 45 minute sets of original material, covers or both. The only ‘rule’ is that you play quality stuff, so if you’re sick of banging out Mustang Sally this could be for you! The evenings will run from 8pm until 11pm with 3-4 acts performing each time, so well worth coming to if you also enjoy hearing other people’s music. Please let me know asap if you’d like to be part of it!
There’s so much great talent in this town, I’m sure we can make this a really cool night. I would really appreciate your support in giving Southampton a superb acoustic music night that will last! :o)
hey dude - i never made it to the candle club last month - sorry : ) But guess what? I is gunna play some tunes at The Talking Heads on the 30th - wana come? aw gowan. take it easy : )
I’ll be playing a set of my own songs accompanied by near-virtuoso guitarist Lewis Harding at the Wedgewood Rooms on 13th April. It’s going to be a great night with two other superb acts to entertain us! Tickets are a steal at only £4 each. We’d love to see you there, so please drop me a line if you’d like a ticket.
Hello there thank you for the kind words. It was great to meet you the other night.I have seen your lovely pictures from the secrect stars eve very good.I have not got round to editing mine yet!!!x
As of 7th November I will be running a monthly Live Acoustic Music Night at The Old Market Inn, Winchester and I'm looking for good musicians to come and play! It's a fun night, and the audience is always really up for it and very appreciative - your comic slant will go down very well, I think :o) You can play for between 30 mins and 90 mins, depending on how you feel and I am able to pay a reasonable amount for your time. It's a great opportunity to showcase your talent in a new venue and both original material and covers are welcome. If you are interested please message me or respond to this comment:o)
