Influences
Too many to mention here!
Sounds Like
LOVE VINE DIVINE (Lyrics):
And you're my love vine divine
wrapped around my feet on the ground.
And your my love vine divine
climbing up my tree without a sound
And you're my love vine divine
you know how keep me unwound
And you're my love vine divine
you know just how to keep me around
I think if I climb any higher
I just might get a small glimpse of the heavens. You look so stellar I think you just might be
Oh the most beautiful angel in this galaxy
I think if I climb any higher
I might explode like a nebulous cloud
You look so dazzling I can't find the verse
Oh for the very best thing in all of the universe
And you're my love vine divine
baby baby, look what I found
And you're my love vine divine
you're the prototype for all that's profound
And you're my love vine divine
I know we don't really need to hit the town.
And you're my love vine divine
I'd rather just you and me get down.
MY SECRET GARDEN (Lyrics):
"Working all night long in this grave yard
Trying to dig a hole in the dark
By high noon tomorrow they'll fill this void with an empty casket.
I've seen them try to climb over the gate
I've seen them try to desecrate
Only a few more hours until I see the daybreak
Then I'll make, my way
To my... secret garden.
My refuge and salvation.
Where flower petals make perfumes
& the dew drops feed the lucent sprites
In my... secret garden
Where you smell just like fire
And as I tip toe right through the Tulips
can you feel my desire.
Your fingers are just like tendrils that walk over the stones
Here I can sit and pretend that I'm a king on a throne
Filling my head with the sounds of all of the good modal tones
This is a majestic place that shall remain unknown
By now They're burying the madness along with the bad bones
Nana nana na na Ha ha ha ha hey
A coffin that could have been my bed
Instead I'm in this place where angels tread
You saved me just in time before I was way in over my head
I was hanging on by a thread
You bound my nerves, connected my heart to my head
A place untold unsaid just 2 icons from the day of the dead.
And I see the ivy spread
And I hear the trickling waters
And I'm sure you know by now that I've waited for this
for hours & hours
In my secret garden my refuge and my salvation
This is my vision & my inspiration, & my elation!
My secret garden,
My secret garden,
My secret garden,
SILENT MOON (Lyrics):
"Silent moon won’t you speak to me?
Pull forth on my senses & my sensibilities.
I’m at the lowest ebb tide of a sleepless night.
Silent moon won't you speak to me?
Revealing the tide flat creatures of the beach.
As you release this peace within my mind tonight.
I count on you to give me all my inspiration.
All I need is just a “Ne Plus Ultra” incantation.
My memories runs just like a riptide.
You just have to let it take you out into the deep blue sea.
See ee ee ee ee!
Silent moon won’t you speak to me?
Sparkling ripples kiss the shore, mixing waters full of life,
foaming at the mouth of the delta flow.
Silent moon won’t you speak to me?
Emotions squeeze the teardrops right from my eyes
But I'm not blinded by the moon light.
You know I turn to you as time stands still.
And these words slide down moon beams without my will.
Wish I could float like seaweed, anchored in the sand. As I am immersed again
Underneath the water surface, that shines like silver.
No no no no no!
The dawn comes to remind me that
I can’t take the heat or the light of day
A crimson tide in record heat
Soon will paralyze my mind
My nerves begin to feel
The melt down of emotions
That I have.

Peace & Love to Everyone Here! WELCOME!!! My name is Johnny Kabuki. I am a Guitar Player/Singer/Songwriter and Music is my passion. My friends also provide me with inspiration to keep writing. I an now writing, recording and posting songs up on a weekly basis. I have several new songs on the way but one my one of my newest is "Silent Moon". I would like to thank Alice Kim for her amazing keyboard arrangement on this one.
You really made it work Alice Kim!!! Thanks a million!!! You are a "Must Have"! Your patience and acceptance of my methods are totally appreciated... from the bottom of my heart I appreciate everything you do for me Alice Kim.
I hope you like "Silent Moon" It has a lot styles mixed in to it and has many meanings for me on different levels. I promise you it will be something like you have never heard before.
Now please enjoy and try to figure out this poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge called "Ne Plus Ultra": Sole Positive of Night!
Antipathist of Light!
Fate's only essence! primal scorpion rod--
The one permitted opposite of God!--
Condensed blackness and abysmal storm
Compacted to one sceptre
Arms the Grasp enorm--
The Interceptor--
The Substance that still casts the shadow
Death!--
The Dragon foul and fell--
The unrevealable,
And hidden one, whose breath
Gives wind and fuel to the fires of Hell!--
Ah! sole despair
Of both the eternities in Heaven!
Sole interdict of all-bedewing prayer,
The all-compassionate!
Save to the Lampads Seven
Reveal'd to none of all the Angelic State,
Save to the Lampads Seven,
That watch the throne of Heaven!
I also have posted another new song up now too called "My Secret Garden" and "Love Vine Divine". We all need a place to go for refuge. I am lucky! I have mine. How about you? I suggest you go out and look for your secret garden. You might get lucky and find one and escape death in the mean time. I have another poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge called "The Garden Of Boccaccio"
Please enjoy!
[exerpt]
Of late, in one of those most weary hours,
When life seems emptied of all genial powers,
A dready mood, which he who ne'er has known
May bless his happy lot, I sate alone ;
And, from the numbing spell to win relief,
Call'd on the Past for thought of glee or grief.
In vain ! bereft alike of grief and glee,
I sate and cow'r'd o'er my own vacancy !
And as I watch'd the dull continuous ache,
Which, all else slumb'ring, seem'd alone to wake ;
O Friend ! long wont to notice yet conceal,
And soothe by silence what words cannot heal,
I but half saw that quiet hand of thine
Place on my desk this exquisite design.
Boccaccio's Garden and its faery,
The love, the joyaunce, and the gallantry !
An Idyll, with Boccaccio's spirit warm,
Framed in the silent poesy of form.
Like flocks adown a newly-bathéd steep
Emerging from a mist : or like a stream
Of music soft that not dispels the sleep,
But casts in happier moulds the slumberer's dream,
Gazed by an idle eye with silent might
The picture stole upon my inward sight.
A tremulous warmth crept gradual o'er my chest,
As though an infant's finger touch'd my breast.
And one by one (I know not whence) were brought
All spirits of power that most had stirr'd my thought
In selfless boyhood, on a new world tost
Of wonder, and in its own fancies lost ;
Or charm'd my youth, that, kindled from above,
Loved ere it loved, and sought a form for love ;
Or lent a lustre to the earnest scan
Of manhood, musing what and whence is man !
...
And many a verse which to myself I sang,
That woke the tear, yet stole away the pang,
Of hopes, which in lamenting I renew'd :
...
Thanks, gentle artist ! now I can descry
Thy fair creation with a mastering eye,
And all awake ! And now in fix'd gaze stand,
Now wander through the Eden of thy hand ;
...
I see no longer ! I myself am there,
Sit on the ground-sward, and the banquet share.
'Tis I, that sweep that lute's love-echoing strings,
And gaze upon the maid who gazing sings :
Or pause and listen to the tinkling bells
From the high tower, and think that there she dwells.
With old Boccaccio's soul I stand possest,
And breathe an air like life, that swells my chest.
...
Still in thy garden let me watch their pranks,
...
With that sly satyr peeping through the leaves !
Thanks to all my Myspace Friends! God Bless You All! and Pursue your Passion!
