Johnny Kobra was born and raised in Sweden, where he toured and appeared on TV, Radio, Stockholm Water Festival etc. in various bands as a guitar player/backup vocalist, most notably with Syndicate (ft. vocalist Andreas Johnson) and Zircus (ft. Slim Pete, Leif Sundin)
Currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
The debut album titled "The Smell Of Rock And Roll" in 2006, displays catchy tunes, cut with a rustic edge, sprinkled with spicy blues-dust, but there is more to it than most catch on a first listen.
The follow-up, which is planned for release sometime in 2009 goes deeper and shows a more polished, "three-dimensional" sound than "The Smell...", but still shows strong ties to his true roots.
The fangs may sting your skin, but the venom that infects your blood is a pleasant drug that will seduce you and make you beg for more.
