POLITICS: I warn you, I'm a political junkie.
I was horrified at the actions of George W. Bush and his administration. I am against the war in Iraq. I believe in global warming, you'd be crazy not to. I hope for universal health care (what kind of sick place puts money before people's lives?), human rights, equality for all, a stronger middle class, and an end to America's dependence on gasoline. I wish the country wasn't run by corporations.
I'm a registered Democrat, though I'll vote for whom I think is the best person - regardless of their party.
In 2008, I voted for Barack Obama - I'm happy he won. I'm optimistic that he'll put us back on the right path. I'm hoping he will come through on the promises he made.
I have great respect for people like Obama, Ralph Nader, Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Dennis Kucinich, Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy.
I LIKE TO CONSUME: Tommy's, diet soda, Bolthouse Farms Soy Chai Tea, Mongolian BBQ, salsa, ham salad, iced tea, Mint Cafe, the fudge my Mom makes, Ohio City Burrito, Chili Peppers in Euclid, Qdoba, East Coast Custard, Jimmy Johns, Que Tal (RIP), Aladdins, buffalo chicken salads from Winking Lizard, Krazy Mac's Cafe, Taco Bell, Melt, Woodchuck, Ephemere, pasta, El Tango Taqueria, cherry Jolly Ranchers, Cafe 56, Ramen Noodles, etc.

Sounds Like
Music that moves you - emotionally and physically.
I was born Edward Fredrick Fleisher (or "Eddie") in Mentor, Ohio in 1981 to a fantastic mother named Eileen.
I'm known to a few as Johnny La Rock, my musical alias.
I have a kick-ass pug named Pokey.
I enjoy alot of things - most of which are listed in the "Influences" section to your left. And yes, I realize the amount of stuff I listed is excessive.
I've been in lots of musical projects throughout the years, in a variety of genres. While none of the early ones really made any waves, the ones worth mentioning include Talking Picture, One Day We Die, and Gaping A's (my first band).
From 2004-2008, I was a member of Johnny La Rock & Mush Mouth as a Producer/MC. JLR/MM accomplished some rad things, like playing on the 2007 Van's Warped Tour, and opening for national artists like Spank Rock, Subtle, Fat Lip, Z-Trip, P.O.S, and more.
I'm currently focused on Presque Vu, a darker project that combines elements of hip-hop, pop, electronica, and rock. This is essentially a solo thing for me, with some assistance from Vinnie "FURFACE" Furman and Ray "Ray Zen" Sabetto from Deaf By Arms. The debut PV LP, "Capgras," is out now.
I've also made solo instrumental tunes under the name Johnny La Rock.
I'd really like to score films one day. If you're an indie director looking for such things - message me. I have a profile on Versus Media for this too, check it out here.
I started La Rock Inc. Collective a few years back in order to promote good music that isn't getting attention. We've also released a few discs, most notably the Necker Cube compilation series.
In addition to making music, I write about it. I freelance for Cleveland's alt-weekly paper, Scene, and the Brooklyn-based Jazz/Funk/Soul/Hip-Hop magazine, Wax Poetics. Through writing, I'm able to put my nerdy musical knowledge to good use.
I also write reviews for Alternative Press, where I work as an Office Assistant.
I'm planning on going back to school.
Yep, that's pretty much it.
My NEW project, Presque Vu - Live @ Beachland Tavern
My OLD group, Johnny La Rock & Mush Mouth - Live @ Turntable Club
REVIEW: Here's what Scene had to say about my solo single, "Reincarnation" from Necker Cube 2 (released under the name Johnny La Rock):
"Executive producer Johnny La Rock's samplefest "Reincarnation" is more entertaining than half of the new Portishead album." - DX Ferris
Talking to Nick Nasty last night, he mentioned that he was planning on coming to the Beachland to see Soapbox Prophet play, and that he was bringing friends. I said, "what do you mean?" and he said, "Eddie told me you guys were playing the Beachland and you were opening". I told him he must have confused this with the May show, and that I was not, in fact, opening the Beachland show, but singing with you guys. So now I'm horrifically confused.
Hope you don't have a "case of the Mondays" and work is treating you as good as possible. Call me later when you get out- starting to feel better if you want to get together.
