Paul Barker ( ex Ministry/Revolting Cocks) & Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard/Tomahawk) decided to start a new band. They got together and wrote some material, liked what they heard, and then recruited Gary Call an unknown but extremely talented young vocalist/multi instrumentalist. They wrote some more material, liked that too, and then recruited drum wizard Johnny Rabb (clinician, author, inventor) to finish the lineup....

Comprised of percussionist Chris Patterson (DJ Krushar) and drummer Johnny Rabb, this explosive drum and percussion duo take you places that you want to be! With passion for electronic music, the two use their acoustic instruments to create electronic sounds. While playing in the styles of jungle, drum 'n' bass, house and acid jazz, the two control samples of original music and remix on the fly. They offer a different DJ oriented show combining their original techniques and grooves to each set. You have never seen or heard anything like it!
BIO
Johnny Rabb is an active live and studio drummer living in Nashville, TN. He stays busy drumming and composing music with partner Clay Parnell in the innovative group BioDiesel.
Johnny has been fortunate enough to develop a series of cymbals with the MEINL cymbal company. His Drumbals and Safari cymbals are are part of the Generation X line. He also designed a signature stick with the Pro-Mark drumstick company. Johnny has worked with Roland US and Japan Drum and Percussion Division programming drum kits for the Roland TD-12 drumset and the TDW-20 Expansion Board. Johnny continues to design and develop new sounds and innovations for his unique concepts on the drums.
As an author, Johnny continues his passion for education. He has just released The Official Freehand Technique Book/CD with Hudson Limited. Johnny was also voted 1 Best Educational Author by Modern Drummer’s Readers Poll for his book Jungle Drum ‘N’ Bass for the Acoustic Drum Set.
He has performed with a wide range of artists such as Maynard Ferguson, Alain Caron, Frank Gambale, Larry Tagg, Tanya Tucker, DJ Hype, Hank Williams III, SheDaisy, Deana Carter and Mindy McCready.
He has traveled worldwide conducting clinics and master classes including the Montreal Drumfest, PASIC, Musik Messe, Meinl Drum Festival 2005 & 2008.
Drummer Fest (Belgium)and the Ultimate Drummer’s Weekend, to name a
few. He has also instructed at world reknown drum camps, including KOSA and RHYTHM (Bavarian Music Academy).
Johnny currently tours and performs with BioDiesel U.S.S.A., DrumJockeys and Magnetic Lobster (w/Marco Minnemann).
Johnny performs with DW and PDP/pedals/hardware, Roland V-Drums, MEINL
cymbals, REMO drumheads, Pro-Mark drumsticks, Pro-Logix Practice Pads and AUDIX microphones.
