Johnny Red and the Skammunists is the PERFECT band name. It's easily abbreviated to a pronounceable nickname, "JRATS." It gives John Meador an alias in "Johnny Red." It has a color scheme and easily adopted imagery--red, communism, etc. Your fan club can be called The Skammunists. It's all easy brand identification. AND you can look at bands like the Beatles, who had this unappealing beetle idea and mixed it with the word "beat" to form what's basically a retarded band name. Look where they are now! (Dead, mostly) teehee... so... I'm just saying.
