Johnny Rocketpants broke into the Seattle scene in the Fall of 2003 when notorious brothers, Jason and Scott Hill (each with a guitar in hand), teamed with long-time cohort Joel Flamme and his fearless bass. They set out to create melodic rock music that could make the pope cry and resurrect the spirits of your dead ancestors. All that was missing was a time-keeping, skin-bashing, stick-twirling powerhouse to drive the rock! This spot could only be filled by Scott's long lost twin, Kim Tyburski. Her drive, experience and intimate knowledge of every song in the complete Iron Maiden catalog gave the band that final remaining spark to ignite the fires of rock!
In August of 2004, the band ventured to Portland, Oregon to record with infamous producer/engineer/music goddess, Nancy Hess at Lift Studios. This site contains some recordings from that fateful session.
