About me: Music has always been a really big part of my life. Even though I've been involved with sports a lot, singing will always remain my first love. Each song brings you to this surreal and wonderful world where you feel your emotions so deeply that you become those emotions. For me, that’s what singing is all about: helping people connect with their inner self. The few times I had the opportunity to perform were certainly the most exciting and surreal moments of my life. And I’ve won four national handball championships and participated in two world youth championships. You’re trying to share the song with the audience by becoming the emotion you want to share. Then, before you know it, you’re at a crossroad of two realities. You’re still in the room and see the audience, but at the same time, it’s almost like you are floating all over the theater. It is simply the best feeling in the world. That’s what performing is all about for me, sharing a feeling and a part of who you are. When you attain that state of vulnerability, you feel so empowered to reach out to people It gives you a better understanding of the reasons why certain songs get under your skin and bring you deeply in touch with your emotions.
Personally, music has really helped me get in tune with who I am and what I want in periods of confusion. It gave me the strength I needed to push my limits and go places I had never expected to go spiritually and physically. But most of all, it helped me become a better person. I have tremendous respect and admiration for artists who, by their music, helped me become who I am today. For that, I will always be grateful and I will try my best to give back the gift of music to younger generations whether I am a well-known performer or simply the proudest dad.
Who I'd like to meet: Lauren Graham (the Audrey Hepburn of our generation..) just to make sure that she didn't copy Lorelai's character from me...
