About JOHNNY SOUZA

Trumpeter/Vocalist/Composer Johnny Souza is an alumnus of Berklee College of Music where he majored in music performance and studied with instructors including: John LaPorta, Wes Hensel and Mike Metheny. Johnny performs at jazz venues throughout New England and also performs a classic, standard repertoire similar to the styles of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Harry Connick Jr, Louis Armstrong and Chet Baker. Johnny has released two CD's comprised of jazz standards along with Johnny's original compositions.These recordings have received a high level of airplay on jazz radio across the country. Johnny's CD and downloads are available on Amazon.Com and Apple iTunes among other sources. Johnny also writes a monthly jazz column which is published in a number of newspapers in eastern Massachusetts.
