GALACTICUS 9! The idea hit like a bolt of lightening: a fun, epic rock album that told a sci-fi story reminiscent of 1950's cinema. Taking some already-written material ('Set Coordinates for the Planet Babe' and 'Triggers & Flags'), a tale developed about an intergalactic space traveler and his desperate quest to save his beloved starlet, Annie Saturn.
This is our third album. It is our first work since we relocated to Boston last winter. Previous to that, we stomped around Olympia, WA. That's where our first two records - Johnny Stranger (2006) and Lucid (2007) - were made.

Yeah I figured, I totally forgot until yesterday that you were in the area haha...yeah, I'm going with my school band and we're just doing all the cliche touristy things along with playing a couple concerts...

I just wanted to Pete know that this Friday I leave for New York, in which I will be for three days. We should like grab lunch or something haha.
And on an unrelated note, the new album is fantastic. It's deliciousness to my ear's taste buds. And I'm stoked for the video for Machete Parade, it's my favorite song on G9 (I've somewhat figured it out on guitar already ;D)
