Johnny Waltz

About me:

I was born December 10, 1976 in Kalamazoo Michigan and currently reside in Florence, Kentucky. I am fortunate to have a loving and supporting wife, Janie Waltz, who has blessed me with three beautiful daughters and I have a daughter who resides in Michigan.

I am a disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on board the USS George Washington from 2000 to 2004 and was directly involved in Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and worked as a civilian contractor in Iraq. I became disabled in 2006 because of a military mandated anthrax vaccination and posttraumatic stress disorder.

My resume includes serving as Executive Director for Severus Worldwide, Executive Vice President for Iraq War Veterans Organization, and Kentucky Director for the Order of the Silver Rose.

I am running in the 2010 election to be the next Democratic United States Congressman from Kentucky’s 4th Congressional district. I am a simple working class married father of four who has had enough of politics as usual. While I may not have all the answers or even know all the questions, I know that with your active help and support we can start the process of addressing these issues in plain simple English.
