I am a promoter and can book your Act in a thriving, private, underground video and film club in New Jersey which is 40 minutes from Manhattan. The place has launched many generations of performers, and is actively supported as a creative oasis by new generations.

Punk, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Surf, Horror, Ska, and Hellbilly meets classic blues and country during this new film and video series sponsored by the home of The Meatlocker and Chaos Kitchen!!!! We've gone head first into this on short notice and we hope you regulars will come out and show your appreciation and support and be participants. As time goes by this should really heat up so let's get it off the ground right!!!! Thank you to all the performers who have shown interest in this new event, and we will be putting you on the bill when we can coordinate schedules in the next couple of months.
You can drink at the bar next door, we do not condone underage drinking.
Who I'd like to meet: People with interesting acts who want to play in an underground private club and be in our film and video shoots. We are a nicely sized, black, graffitti filled, ROUGH GRUNGY idiocyncratic basement, with a stage and many adjoining rooms in the middle of a thriving downtown, with easy access to public transportation to New York City. Booking is run on our regular nights like booking out a VFW or Fire Hall. To book shoots and shows you would rent out the space(very cheaply!!!!) Money is always negotiable. We can try to book other acts to split costs, and with promoting by posting the date on our site as well as post flyers at our other shows, spread the word, etc. (But we will not do ALL the promoting).
To sort out the bad intentioned riff raff and trouble makers from regular participants we will be slowly instituting a membership policy, members can also bring guests and are responsible for their guests behavior. This new policy is still in the formation proccess so DO NOT WORRY about not being able to get in!!!!!!! Questions call: 415-516-7174.

The Montclair-Glen Ridge-Nutley Red Cross Celebrates National CPR/AED Awareness Week with Special Classes, Pre- registration Required June 1-7 marks first observance – Red Cross goal to reach 250,000
MONTCLAIR, NJ – Learning CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can quite possibly mean the difference between life and death for someone suffering from Sudden Cardiac Arrest or other medical emergency. During this first National CPR/AED Awareness Week, this June 1-7, the Montclair-Glen Ridge-Nutley Red Cross encourages everyone to learn these important skills that could someday save a life.
“The Red Cross wants the public to know that everyone has the power to save a life. At least one person in every household and on every office floor should be trained and certified in first aid and CPR/AED,” says John Kocotos, Health & Saftey Director at the Red Cross. “On average, it takes emergency personnel 10 minutes to arrive on scene. For someone who is choking or has stopped breathing, that may be too late. By learning simple rescue skills, you can go from being a helpless bystander to a person with the ability to take control help someone during an emergency.”
Training is also available to companies or groups that would be interested in enrolling their entire staff. A Health and Saftey instructor can come to your location and train on site.
Help the Montclair-Glen Ridge-Nutley Red Cross accomplish a nationwide goal of reaching 250,000 people with lifesaving information during this week. The following CPR/AED training and awareness events are open to the public at a discounted rate of $10.00:
