Bio
Formerly The Jay Harley Band, now Johnny Wore Black. Jay spent many of his early years on film sets, at the side of his late father, a Dublin born film director. It was he who encouraged Jay to write. In his teens, Jay began to put his poems to music. He then went on to front various bands, performing in venues around the United Kingdom and Ireland, receiving airplay on radio and television. Jay is a prolific songwriter and has just completed his album entitled 'Walking Underwater'. He has established musical partnerships and is presenlty working with numerous creative talents. His previous band, The Jay Harley Band was headlining at selected venue's around the UK. Johnny Wore Black are planning select gigs. More info to follow. .... ........ -
