many - nature, hiking, camping, good wine, good friends, anything irish - and people. i love hanging with people and sharing our lives - i like to hear the story of others, and share my story with them. sometimes i just listen, and desire to here what others have to say - it is never about "me" when others are sharing their story.

my taste in music run all over the place - the music you are hearing is from my son-in-law's band called "carry the tourch" - a great group of guys - hope you like :)
Movies
anything that makes me laugh, cry or get involved - i like stories and i like to feel something when i watch a movie
Television
not much, but too much lately - love monk, he's soooooo much like people i know - almost anything on the food, histort and travel networks.
Books
the one i helped write is a good one. it is called "out of the ooze" and can be found in all book stores - i write one of the "chapters" and it was published by NavPress

about me? it's not about me. it is about all of us; all who are and are striving to do. it is about the questions we ask, and the places we seek to find answers and the ones we never find answers too. it is more about "us" as a collective, a community; a gathering of skeptics wondering to find answers in a world created by God and hurt by humanity. it is about knowing who Christ is, and walking with him on a journey of faith that can change your view of the world.
it is about knowing and searching without being "told" what to think; it is about knowing that God is real and in our journey of faith we seek to walk closer to God in relationship with others; it is striving to develop a map that allows us to explore faith, determine "truths" and to express our understand of both in relevant and meaningful ways; it is knowing what we do effects the lives of others we don't even know, and that the "butterfly affect" is real. it is about community.
