Time for a Change
04/17/08: It's time to change things around here, because that's what life calls us to do - change... adapt to needs both in our lives and here on Myspace. When I first arrived here I wanted you to know that I'm a writer. Then I faced tragedy and needed you to see me as I was at that time, deeply in need of others who understood. You did your part well - most of you. Well, time has passed and the About Me needed revamping.
My name is John Paul Allen and I'm a horror writer. Ever heard of me? I'll give 2 in 10 odds that you haven't and that's if you read the genre. I'm a lower-level midlister, meaning I've been published a few times with small publishers. It has paid most of the bills, but not much more. That's why the changes here. "My name is John and I write stuff" doesn't do the job anymore. I want you to know about me.
