One-time frontman of Escapade and talented worship leader, John Prockter has been making music for over 15 years and is now in his prime. Through 3 EPs' with Escapade and a countless gigs and tours, John has developed a voice and a style that come across every bit as well on record as they do live.
In 2003 John recorded the full album 'Only Jesus' on the smallest of shoe-string budgets which achieved great reviews among his peers and has led to many and more prestigious bookings, not least of which saw John leading 4,500 people in worship in a single event.
Recorded throughout 2007 and featuring a ramped up, high voltage production, made possible through being picked up by Risen Records, John's latest offering 'Lord & Saviour' is a marked leap forward on all fronts. The excellent songs, the organic musicianship and the broader sound palette that a higher budget brings all fuse together to throw John into a whole new ball park.
When he isn't recording, leading worship or running youth work, John can be found at home with his wife Louise and daughter Madeline.
Hey John, long time no speak! I really like where you are at musically, always a little different to the mainstream but still keeping the tunes totally addictive
