In other news, we've finished our May tour and we had a great time! A lengthy blog detailing the events that transpired in each town will be posted soon!

13.05.09 We're on tour right now! We've played some great venues and we've played with some awesome bands including Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand, The Upgrades, Classics of Love (featuring Jesse Michaels from Operation Ivy!) and Mike Park. The last five or six venues have also all had adequate stage lighting so we're already considering the tour a huge success based on that alone! We've still got a load more dates before the end of the month in Torquay, Merthyr, Aberdare, loads in London and more! See below in the tour dates section.

In other news, the third episode of our less-and-less-frequent video blog 'Public Access' is on the way! We've got footage coming out the wazoo so it's just a case of hitting Craig Oats with a stick until he edits it for us.

01.03.09 We are currently in the process of booking our summer tour dates around the UK, Ireland and Europe. Please get in touch if you'd like to book us to play anywhere. In some other news, we're heading back into Screamadelica Studios this weekend to resume work on our new album. If we're feeling nice we may upload a new track soon!



25.01.09 Happy Birthday to us! Our band is SEVEN YEARS OLD TODAY!! How crazy is that? The time has flown by! And we don't plan stoppin' any time soon either!

12.01.09 We're gonna be appearing on 'Nation Radio's First Date with Polly James' later this month! We'll be in the studio on January 25th (that's a Sunday!) from 12pm 'til 2pm answering questions sent in by listeners and generally talking a lot of bollocks!

05.01.09 We've changed our name! If you knew us before then May Contain Nuts are now John Q Public. Or if it's your first visit then hi! This is our new name, we used to be called May Contain Nuts.

There's lots of exciting stuff on the horizon so please keep checking back on a regular basis. Over the coming weeks we're gonna keep adding videos and tracks to this page so soon enough it'll have content coming out the wazoo.

We're currently working on our debut album as the new name which we'll be touring heavily in the summer. In the meantime keep your eyes open as we'll still be playing gigs all over the place in the run up to that. Cheers!
