I find that I am influenced by a myriad of Sources, not just Music. Hence my Joy when I think about being the guy who gets to go on this amazing Journey. So here are a few of my Muses, most definitely NOT in any particular order of priority. Each Moment has it's own reward... :-)
People I meet, places I go, things I see, the Wonder of Life, the Mystery of Knowing, acts of Compassion, Humming Birds, the Spectre of Grandeur, Race Horses for their great Heart.
The Hope of Peace.
The Circle of Folk I am Blessed to know as Friends (you know who I'm talking about), who are Lovers of Life, a big % of which are Musicians and Artists of some form or other.
The Labyrinth of Understanding, all that I've been, all that I am and all that I ever Hope to be...
Everybody I've ever admired, famous and otherwise, on or off MySpace, you, ( yes, I mean you, the One reading this ).
OK, so you want a few specifics. The Blog "the Original List of Influences" should prove insightful...

Music
Celtic Music, Blues, Classic Rock, from when it was 1st called Classic, Classical Music, particularly the Pieces that have Guitar.
I am on a Journey that is taking me to all 50 States and some other points of Interest around the World. Using my own Tuning while improvising never before heard pieces on a Classical Guitar, I intend to record a minimum of 50 CDs, 1 from each State. All the profits from the sales of any and all hard copies Created from these 50 CDs or via Digital Downloads, will go primarily towards helping children with breathing disabilities and towards reforesting our Planet. More trees means better air, which should mean fewer breathing problems. There will be other Charities able to benefit from these CDs via Digital Downloads as well.
I am affiliated with Sweet Lucy Records and have been playing Guitar for over 4 decades.
John has been involved with the Cincy Blues Society’s “Blues In The Schools” for 10 years. He does in-school Presentations and serves as Mentor to the overall BITS Program. As an outreach of BITS, he has also been involved with a Jam for Kids, known as the “Under 21 Jam”, which is on standby at the moment.
His CD “Mercy”, full of Pieces he Created on his Classical, runs the gamut of emotions as he takes you on a ride to the deeper regions of the Soul, where he draws from a Wellspring of Creative possibilities. ("Mercy" is available as a Digital Download on this Page. Just scroll up and visit the SNOCAP Store for what is currently available.)
Whether you are witnessing him summon new Pieces from the Universe or listening to him sing from the Heart, songs of Life and Love, you will find a Man who is comfortable with his instrument and himself. To him, Life is a Wondrous Adventure…

Actually, the song is "Clean Love", that old Blues Image tune we used to do about halfway thru the 3rd set. But, yes, I'm feeling better, by a lot. 7 or 8 days on the couch can do that for you. Unfortunately, it is still winter here... I'm getting cabin fever, badddd. Some friends have a motorcycly poker run scheduled for April 11, I may be looking for tire chains for the scoot. Take care old friend.
Thanks for a wonderful night last friday. It looks like your dates grow every time you're out here! Looks like everyone else is starting to hear what I loved when we booked you. See you soon!!
Johnny.... check out my profile song, see if that don't take you back a few decades. Remember warming up for Exile, playing this song about 4 times for the UK Athletic dudes? Peace
