in the UK, USA, and mainland Europe.
John runs the storytelling areas at Cambridge Folk Festival and the Kidz Field at Glastonbury.
He performs each year at Guilfest, Strawberry Fair, Cropready, Beautiful Days,Suffolk Greenpeace Fair and
Bestival on the Isle of Wight.
In 2008 he was a featured poet at the Austin International Poetry Festival.

He was the first storyteller in residence at a British prison and was writer in residence at HMP Highpoint.
He writes regularly for 'On Track' the magazine of Network Rail.
His new show,'Serious Times' with singer songwriter Paddy Stratton will be touring later this year.
He has created characters for re-cycling and public information road shows and scripted films and plays in prisons.
As a compere he has worked on children's festivals and in circuses.
