I am appealing to my friends, family, and fans to help me finance my next recording. I have set up a Donation PayPal account where you can kindly donate money towards my next CD. There are different tiers of giving, but even the lowest tier, $5, gets you a copy of the CD when it is finished. In the highest tier, $100 and more, I will make special mention of you in the CD Booklet, and a personal thank you, amongst other things.
Before I go into specifics about you giving, (and again, I SINCERELY appreciate your willingness to give or to consider giving) let me just quickly say something about your donations:
All money collected through the campaign will be held in a separate bank account, and used only for pre-production, production (i.e., studio time), artwork, duplication, and other expenses directly related to the album itself. If you ever have questions, concerns, or inquiries, please do not hesitate to email me directly at johnschmittmusic@gmail.com , and I will get back to you right away.

John Schmitt’s honest approach to writing and performing music is a direct reflection of his experience growing up in Buffalo, NY and his deep connection to the people that live there.
“It’s a place that’s trying to fit into the new world. It cherishes little things, small advances, and emphasizes family… it works hard, and faces social and political adversity as they try to thrive.”
A self-taught musician, John began writing music and learning to play his favorite songs by ear at age 16. One year later, John began performing in local coffee shops and open mics. After several years of recording and performing with various bands, John pursued a solo career in music, releasing The Musical EP and now his first full length CD, John Schmitt.
John was awarded third prize in the New York Songwriters Circle 2008 Songwriting Contest for his song, "Ophelia"!
Copy and paste the code in the while box if you want to help spread the John Schmitt love all around the internet.
