Sounds Like
A mix of everything with a strong influence of George Lynch's pinch harmonics and vibrato.
These tracks were recorded on a Tascam Porta01 and Porta05 4-track recorder. The amps used were Randalls. I used a Randall RG-100 on Maggot Brain, and my Randall RG-80 on the other tracks. The guitars used were my '81 Gibson Explorer, and my '82 Ibanez Iceman II.
As far as effects and pedals, I don't use many. Only a Boss Overdrive OD-1, Boss Digital Delay DD-2, and at the end of Maggot Brain I used a DOD Octoplus FX-35. As far as future recordings go, I'm all set. My brother Dave has awesome gear, and a kick ass studio. Now more about me...
I started off at an early age as a metalhead! I was 10 years old when I first started playing the drums. Then for some reason, I really wanted to play guitar, and started to learn at the age of around 15 (thanks to my buddy Tom Zalessi).
I've been in several bands, but mostly play guitar, bass, and drums only as a hobby now. I LOVE to mess around in the studio recording tracks, and jamming with friends.
