   About John Tracy

HIS STORY
What’s your story?

Or better yet – what will your story be?? That’s what John Tracy wants to know and it’s the message of his music.

John Tracy’s new CD release, Break The Chain, is filled with songs that reflect his desire to leave the right story behind. Will we have made a difference in the lives around us by leaving a lasting legacy behind us? In the featured song, Break The Chain, John Tracy reminds us that the simplest things we do for those we love can make a big difference. We can break the cycle of hurt and heartache by expressing our love to our families through simple things like spending time with them or telling them how much they mean. As we all know, the words we speak to each other create memories that last a lifetime.

When this life is gone, what story will you leave behind?

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING:
"John Tracy - a 'music man, an artist of imagination, who is living large breaking free'. His new CD is positive, inspiring, uplifting and speaks to your spirit with his soothing singing voice. John is a perceptive songwriter with strong courageous lyrics of hope and great musicianship." Joseph W. Neely Reynolds Fort Worth NSAI Regional Workshop Coordinator Producer & Host "THE SONG IN ALL OF US"

"... a refreshing compilation of lyrics that gravitate toward faith, family and friends ... a collection of charming songs with inspirational messages." Hal Brown, Publisher, Fort Worth, Texas Magazine

“John's songs are beautiful folk-rock tunes, filled with comforting & introspective lyrics. His compositions are the perfect embodiment of everything positive about Country music; along with wisdom and a strong heart-felt voice. He carries the quality & consistency of Dan Fogelberg throughout all of his compositions & has put a lot of professional attention and detail into making his wonderful tunes really shine with feeling & polished guitar craftsmanship.” Mark Micklich, Songsalive!

"John Tracy delivers easy-going, laid-back relaxed compositions with a country/folk/bluesy feel. His lyrics are sincere, and are sung with compassion and conviction. A definite tribute to his influences, John’s music has an air of familiarity, yet he provides the listener with a comfortable space between the musical past and present." - IndiePro

"I love this guy's voice.....it is so friendly and calm. The song, 'Slow Down' has a great beginning and I love the words....great song. There is something so calming about John's voice......so warm, as if he was your best friend. It's almost spiritual.........no....it is spiritual because you will feel inspired and filled with love when you listen to this. Well done John." - Sarah

"Songs of experiences, history and a new found passion. Every song gives you a memory to recall and see within yourself. Truly from the heart." - Dr. K

Hola John Tracy,

How are you doing? Has 2007 been a good year for you so far? Let us know what's going on in your life. We're one big family here, right? Our desire for you, John Tracy, is that you engage 100% of your effort in the pursuit of holiness. Oh and remember, you're not a sinner, you're a saint if you know Jesus. Of course... we all sin, but our identity in Christ is not a "sinner." Our prayer is that we would let God; rule, reign and roam freely in our lives. Let us know if you would like us to come out to your area.

Much Love,
SweptAway
