John has had the good fortune to have played and recorded with many great European and South American muscians, including Tim Garland, Tim Whitehead, Gilad Atzmon, Guillermo Rozenthuler, Koby Israelite and Robbie Robson. The new album of his trio ..Midas..will be released in 2009, a collection of original tunes and some choice standards, and has won the jazz services 'promoter's choice' award - watch out for gigs at the London and Manchester Jazz Festivals... Dog Soup is also a prominent member of the Loop Collective, a growing London-based collective of young musicians exploring and blurring the boundaries of classical music, jazz, free/improvised music and electronica.
