formed in 1989 by alistair with ade williams on guitar, joolie wood on fiddle, ian thompson on bull fiddle and andy hilton rattling the traps, John Wayne Army were a live act par excellence. various musicians came and went the final line up was Alistair on vocals, Tim Sanpher, Patmo Sheeran and Simon dickenson on guitars, Daniel Brita on bass.
